Banitsa/Banichka is arguably Bulgaria’s national breakfast dish.  But that doesn’t mean it’s eaten just for breakfast - banichka is delicious anytime of the day! 

What makes our banichka stand out is that we prepare the phyllo sheets from scratch, which is quite a laborious process. Our chef, Sneji (aka Sunny) makes each and every one of these by hand using quality ingredients.  Each sheet is stretched thin, then filled with feta/cottage cheese filling and folded into a triangle. 


  • Flour, Water, Salt, Vinegar, Butter, Oil, Feta Cheese, Cottage Cheese.

Sold in packs of 4 banichki (2-2.25lbs/pack)

Cooking Mode:

  • Preheat oven to 375F 
  • For optimal results, do not defrost/thaw, place the frozen pies in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until light golden brown (as shown in the product photo).  Do not leave in the oven after the cooking time has completed.  *Cooking time may vary depending on your oven type.
